Tamil Nadu Rural Transformation Project - TNRTP is an innovative
World Bank assisted Project that aims at rural transformation
through strategies that look beyond poverty alleviation by building
sustainability and prosperity of rural communities through rural
enterprise promotion, access to finance and employment opportunities
in the selected blocks of Tamil Nadu.
Problem
Statement
The government of Tamil Nadu wants to improve the economy at the rural level. To achieve this, the government doesn’t have the right system for recording the data of the on-field survey, observing the top challenges of the intervention villages, data analysis for decision-making, and digitally monitoring the project execution of course correction activities.
Our Solution
We offer direct beneficiaries will be about 4 Lakhs covering
individuals or members aggregated into enterprise/group, producer
collectives across farm and non-farm and industries sectors. The
project will target primarily the SHG households, who have a basic
level of assets, resources and skills with special focus on women,
scheduled tribes, scheduled castes, differently abled, youth and
aspiring entrepreneurs.
